That's hard to believe, really. Have a source for that? I'd like to read it.

I read a lot about this distro, but never saw that. It's been good to me... well, for the few weeks I've been running it.

I don't think it was me, but I do like PCLinuxOS Minime 2009.2 a lot and have it as my current Linux distro. It's the old KDE 3.5 version with very little preinstalled software. I like it as I can use it as a nice, small, fast, non-bloated VM, but still with easy setup (unlike Arch), and functionally it does everything I've thrown at it thus far. It also has nice legible fonts, something that I found lacking in my previous primary VM (Mandriva 2008.1 non-paying).

I'm using KDE 4.4.5 and it's really been smooth fast and stable. Virtualbox was a breeze. I did use it a couple of years ago and find it much better now. Some admins on the Suse forums are using it too :) That's who recommended it to me via PM......haha

I think I might have said a thing or two in favor of this distro. I started using this distro around 2005 and have been loving every minute of it. Not that I haven't tried other distros and enjoyed them too. But I just haven't found one that I like as much and that works better. I just finished installing it on a new PC I got for the living room. I have it hooked up to my HDTV through HDMI and it couldn't look nicer! Here is a screeny for your enjoyement. ;)

By the way, if you are looking for a wireless keyboard, I have to recommend the iogear brand. I can control the PC from any where in the living room and far beyond. ;D

Very nice....thanks for recommendation on the wireless keyboard...I'm been thinking of just such an arrangement. PCLOS KDE has been flawless so far....very nice.

You are welcome. As for the website, it is back up now. I think it was a DOS attack.

Unfortunately it didn't do anything.....very odd. everything else was perfect in my world. I went back to Peppermint Ice with Xfce on this Vostro. PCLOS KDE I'm going to try on my Precision....doubt I'll have those problems there...something a little quirky about this 1220....with Ubuntu for example, headphones/speakers work fine...but the PC speaker doesn't totally mute. Odd.
