Ok, I have an MSI gt 725 with an Intel(R) WiFi 5100 adapter. I can dual boot Ubuntu and Vista. Lately I have had to reset my router at home to get connection at times and I can not establish a connection on my work wireless at all. Under Vista I get a limited connectivity, but can not access the internet. No connection under Ubuntu. I have tried uninstalling it and had no luck. Any trouble shooting ideas?I have a dell with XP and it is working fine at home and at work.

You're getting wireless signal and associating with the access point?
It sounds like you might have a problem with DHCP on your network, your XP machine might have an IP address that it hasn't released yet, so it would still have connectivity.
If you have limited connectivity, that means it's self-assigning an address in the 169.x range, and it would be able to connect to other computers in the same subnet but not to the internet (since there is no gateway).
You could try running ipconfig /all on the XP laptop and duplicating the settings (incrementing the IP address of course). That's only a band-aid solution though. -
