Will it? I'll be partitioning my Hard Drive, probably in FAT 32, maybe NFTS, would Ubuntu be able to mount a NFTS partition, if I were to download extra software(or even better, can it do it out of the box)?
If GRUB DOES actually get lost in the process, I need to install Windows XP by Christmas anyway, so any advice on how to get it back would be great, since I wouldn't like to loose this partition, and I am quite dependent on GRUB...
Thanks in advance,

Yes, but just pop in a live cd and reinstall grub
-
Should I just Google for the commands?

You could also try using Super Grub -
I'm not a linux user but there are some funny names associated with it like "GRUB"
-
hahahha, yes. I guess there are.

Because it would normally be "GUB" if it was a true acronym. -
