I want to install Wubi on my Vostro 1400 and after the *ugh*12 hour install*ugh*...it always crashes on first boot. I get the Ubuntu screen with the orange loading bar, but it says my "server x failed to load"...I want to try something new, but not permanently like if i were to install Ubuntu direct...

    Thanks

Try the Ubuntu LiveCD....no need to install to use it.

    CDs are so cumbersome though...

I'm downloading the ISO right now to burn a copy for a Boot CD

But on the Wubi problem, could it be a driver issue?

    Thanks
