This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    It's a rethemed/tweaked Ubuntu....but looks very polished, very nice....repos are same as Ubuntu....menu is different (GnoMenu)....If you're a Ubuntu user it would be a nice place to start if you like the looks. fwiw

    yeah....I just ran the liveCd....they are trying to make it look familiar to Windows users crossing over....they did a fairly good job.... :)

    I like my sleek black ubuntu install, tho I have it on an eSata drive atm as I'm sorta pressed to use windows for work/gaming needs, but I plan to use Linux and win7 as dual-boot when my new asus shows up =]

    I looked at that..thought about trying it..
    after trying about 8 distros so far i have liked ubuntu the best,
    Zorin would be a good distro for new linux users to step into..
    Let me know how it goes Zoid..i may have to fire up the livecd...
