I am just wondering, have you guys noticed any performance difference between installing a fresh ubuntu and a wubi install?

giving it a dedicated partition has one added bonus:
if anything happens to vista, you have to reinstall or anything, your ubuntu doesnt go with it.

for a first time user, wubi is good. thats how i first got it installed. but after installing distros back to back for almost a week, i decided to give ubuntu a dedicated partition.

do i notice any performance differences? meh not really. but its good knowing that if anything happens to vista ill still have ubuntu. infact, that is how i lost my wubi installed ubuntu in the first place, after which i decided to give it a dedicated partition...my C partition got corrupted and to reformat vista lol.
