I'm just curious, the old madwifi driver is working beautifully, but with the new mainline ath5k driver I can hardly ping smoothly. Literally, after 3 or 4 icmp packets it starts choking and delaying. Any sort of transfer and it chokes out after a few megs.

At least it's an improvement over 2.6.25 where it wouldn't even connect to my access point.

Anyone else with Atheros hardware? What are your experiences?

I have an AR5212, by the way, the Thinkpad card.

Maybe you can use this driver with more luck.
