    hello frndz, m very new to linux backtrack3..i have live cd bt3..my dv2000 has intel 3945abg card..bt3 has its drivers loaded when i run it...but kismet is not working nor the option in misc-load ipw 3945abg wporking nor airodump...actually i have downloaded some drivers of my card from internet which are in *.tar format in c drive..now i need some step by step instructions how to install these drivers & when start with bt irqpoll then this error come up "THE PROCESS for the file
    protocol died unexpectedly",,do live cd support driver installation..

    oh my lord you are confusing. I suggest you google.

    also, backtrack3 can get you in a lot of trouble if your a noob. dont go nmaping random things unless you really know what your doing.

    i just load it off a usb drive, and it lets me install drivers until i reboot. and yeah that was really confusing.

    what are the steps to load back track 3 on usb 1gb and make it bootable??
