    hi all..

im having problems compiling and installing most programs. you might be wondering why im still stuck with the primitive way of installing stuff. thats because i do stuff offline due to the fact that my other machine doesnt have an internet connection..

does anyone know where i can download the essential compiler binaries?

It's the build-essential package. Get the .deb from a mirror.
