    Saw this today and it looks pretty cool. I'd like to try it out sometime over the Christmas break, but I don't have the disk space right now. What are your thoughts?

    a lot of your stuff won't work at first install. it is 100% free (as in freedom) software, so all binary driver blobs are out. go ahead and try it, as it's basically Ubuntu, just be prepared to do a lot of work to get some of the stuff on your laptop working.
