    Hi all,i want to ask..Is it possible to install linpus lite on netbook point of view mobii??Also what about recovery disc,as i see on the website,it's only available for acer,asus,benq and lenovo....Thanks a lot...

    I don't understand the question...

    In terms of the recovery CDs, those are there because the models (like the Acer Aspire One) ship with linpus lite preinstalled.

    Edit: I get it now! POV Mobii is a brand of netbook, I don't see why linpus wouldn't work on it...

    I'm trying to install it,but i doesn't know how to do it,as i got two partition,first partition i installed xp..Do i have to format the second partition to ext3 first??Thanks...

    Yeah if you have a second partition that is empty you should make it ext3. If you don't have an unused partition you can resize an existing one. I'm not sure if the linpus installer supports resizing, but you can use a tool like gparted (on a USB stick or CD, etc) if not. If you are going to resize a partition make sure to run a disk check in windows (chkdsk command) to make sure it is free of errors, and then defragment it, before resizing. Hope this helps :)
