    linux and wireless for Averatec 1020

    I have not succeeded in making the wireless connection work. Advice would be welcome. I have been assuming (based on 1 web page) that the hardware is
    Intel ipw 2200. Can someone please verify this or correct me. I had no trouble installing debian etch. Everything else I try seems to work ok except that very big files sometime hang when copying to my Firelite USB drive.

    WIFI, is gettin rare to find one not supported in linux, in some form or another...
    Its also easy to configure unless not supported at all, but as i stated, thats rare..
    Sound and Graphics can be harder, and a lot more annoying, but then its usually chipsets that are recent and not enough hacking of them done, to iron out the bugs...
