I love beryl on my new-to-me ubuntu. What are some other programs to help make the interface more personalized? I would like to change the menus or shortcuts to something different, possibly like mac osx. So if you have any cool,, or popular programs lemme know.

    thanks

Avant-Window-Navigator is a nice OSX-like dock. And the SLAB menu is pretty funky too.

Ugh, SLAB is the most god awful, unusable user interface element I've seen in a long long time. They seriously need to consider splitting it from the menu system, and just use it for recent documents, search, system controls, and maybe a few common apps. I'm with you on AWN, though.

Check out Pyro Dekstop and Enlightenment DR17. Both are far from stable, but very cool stuff. Pyro is kind of a different take on the Mezzo concept, Enlightenment has been doing a lot of the things compositing has opened the door for, only in software and for much longer.
