hey, i recently downloaded the image of pclinuxos-2007 and i burned it as an image on a cd. when i boot from the cd, and select LiveCD, it goes through a bunch of stuff, but then suddenly says:

insmod: Can't read '/aufs.ko': No such file or directory

and it just stops. is there anything i can do to fix this? i tried googling, but i didnt find any good results...

    thanks :D

    It's a missing module...you should try to download/burn again

Which method have you used to download PCLinuxOS?

i downloaded one from one of the links on www.pclinuxos.com, the USA Mirror all the way on the bottom of the downloads section. then i burned using Nero, and i burned it as an image file (from the "back up CD" tab) onto a regular CD-R disc.

    Yes...better that way
The problem may come from the download process or from the burning process (if not, then we will try other solutions)

Did you verify that the checksum of your downloaded image was correct?
