    problem with opensuse dims my screen when booting!

    any have any suggestions as to why my screen gets dim when it boots into opensuse...btw im on an ASUS m50vm series!

    when it dims...i cant adjust it in opensuse state i have to go back to windows in order to make it brighter again

    any help appreciated

    It's the ambient light sensor. To disable it, run this command as root:
