I just ordered an R61 and i got the fingerprint security add-on. I have read that it does not work out of the box, and you need to enable it following this wiki:

    http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/How_to_enable_the_fingerprint_reader

This says it was done with a T43, so if I follow the instructions, will it work for my R61 as well?

Do what any other person would do: try it yourself. And post back your experience :D.
