    any suggestions for a temp monitor, cpu, gpu, hdd??

    i'd prefer to not use widgets also..

    For GNOME, there is an applet that allows you to place temps for all those components directly onto a task bar. Unfortunately it's been years since I used GNOME, so I can't tell you what it's called. Possibly gnome temp applet or temp-sensors; in any case the name related it's function in the context of GNOME.

    hm no i couldn't find it.. but i did try tsome hardware monitor thing.. the temps didn't show though, and sudo apt-get install lm-sensors is already newest version. D:
