This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    anyone knows if it works with ubuntu 8.10 ?

    I have not tried messing with the fingerprint reader in Linux, but I hear there is a project out there called Thinkfinger that might work with it. Have you looked into that?

    yes i did but it stopped during the configuration step at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ThinkFinger i get this error
