so i installed it to see if i could get itunes running. ya big mistake.

so i went around deleting all the itunes folders and everything else, uninstalled wine. but when i click the applications bar and get the drop down, wine is still there, so is itunes... when i click it it doesnt do anything. so i assume its gone, but how do i get rid of it in the application drop down menu?

    sudo apt-get remove wine
    sudo apt-get autoremove

    >_> I'm far from a linux expert, so someone else should probably help you. But this is what I would try first.

Wine is uninstalled for sure. When you install programs in the newer versions of wine, it automatically puts in new entries into your menu, which you'll have to manually remove. You can usually right-click on the menu and get to a menu editor of some sort (at least in KDE you can).
