CyberpowerPC do. But apparently they won't have the 15" 1070 version back in stock before January: http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/category/laptop
-
hope u get it resolve. i order mine from eurocom and such reports really scares me.
-
from @Eurocom - "Yes we have. Please contact our Sales Team [email protected]. We ship direct to UK too daily - transit time is 2-5 days depending on location in UK."
-
I did have a look at Cyberpower UK and did a config with the 17.3" version to match the MSI GT62VR 6RE which is the alternative I am considering and it's actually more expensive but I won't know exactly until Cyberpower update their stock.
Same here I looked at Eurocom but with all the tax and shipping costs, it costs a lot more up to £2000 which makes the MSI GT62VR 6RE a lot more tempting... -
ah yea thats too much even for a desktop cpu. gt62vr is alot more attractive in US tho. $1399 in microcenter with 1070 + 16gb(2400mhz) +256 ssd +1tb its unbelievable.
someone here did mention a UK reseller that run business and ships from UK so maybe u can get one from them without absurd shipping + tax. -
Hi guys,
Does anybody know where to buy a keyboard for this laptop? I'am desperate to buy one in the next days but can find one with a Azerty (BE or FR)... -
Here in the US we long after the UK GT62VR because it comes with a 6820HK, while the US version only gets a 6700HQ.
-
Garry from Eurocom referred me to their European re-seller in the Czech Republic: http://www.goldmax.cz - they told me they'd give me a quote on the Tornado F5 if I sent them the exact specs I wanted. Still waiting to hear back.
I know nothing about their company, though. Has anyone heard of them? -
well @ $1399 its still no brainer by far the best deal save barebones. even the one with 1060 retail for alot more due to 1070 one being on deal.
-
I have just received a tracking number for my Tornado F5. I ordered 6700k with gtx 1070 and hyperx 2400 8gb and 1TB hdd. I am planning to add another 8gb card and maybe add an m2 ssd later.
What can you do at this point with an unlocked bios?
Did anyone find 120hz panel for this laptop?Diversion likes this. -
There is nothing like that in the UK, the minimal price is £1800 which is best I can find
-
Hello guys
What power adapter do you recommend for this set 230W or 330W?
EUROCOM Tornado F5
Intel I7 7600K
Chipset: Intel Z170
GraphicL NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M GDDR5 6GB
Memory: DDR4(2133 MHz) 8GB
Display: 15.6” UHD(3840x2160), Glossy or Matte, wide-view display
Storage: M.2 250GB +HDD 3TB -
Thanks for the link but they don't post to the UK and I prefer the beefier model GT62VR 6RE which should have better cooling as per 'Galms' guide on Pascal Edition laptops.
-
Sounds like you have a faulty 1070 after all of that.. :/ I hope Eurocom fixes you up ASAP.birdyhands and Krissppy like this.

"Postage to: Europe"
Aske the seller, I'm shure they will shipment to UK. I just buy one for my brother,When I'll get the G72VR then I will let you knowwh what are the temperatures. -
Did you mean the i5-7600K, or the i7- 7700K? Regardless, the 970m draws like 25% less power than the 1070, so you should be fine with the 230W. Out of curiosity, why did you choose to go with the 970m?
-
You can set your CPU overclock in BIOS. Nice to have, but not necessary.
Eurocom stated they would be releasing an unlocked BIOS and possibly Kaby Lake support in a Christmas update. -

Just an update, spoke with Mark in support and they'll send me another GPU to swap out tomorrow.
After reading through everybody's experience with them on here I can't help but be optimistic. It's natural to be frustrated and scared sometimes if you don't hear from them right away but you gotta realize that they're a small company. I've been in that position before, it's easy to get overwhelmed when a new product hits the shelf. What I do like is that when you do get a hold of anyone there, they take their time to address your concerns thoroughly. Not like some places where you feel like you're just another number.
They have a good reputation around here for a reason

My FB4XVR200 finished Final Quality Control Check. Hopefully ships out tomorrow. Missed the 11/25 ship estimate, but that is most likely due to the holiday.

that's great to hear, hopefully you get perfect gpu as a replacement. true, but im scare because if this ships with any fault i wont be able to replace because i may be in pakistan by thn so i hope its without fault shipment for me.

I've been eyeing that deal. Such a great price really. The 970m alone could be sold around around $350-400. I could keep the chassis and what not for spare parts.

Hi
if there is a big difference between i5 6600k and i7 6700k ? what model CPU you recommend?
Thanks -
-
maybe in the future I will exchange for a better model.
Your i7 6700K it's works fine under load at 4.2GHz in your machine?
I'm thinking a buy a appropriate processor for my laptop, what cpu would you recommended?
Thanks for answer. -
I'd rather just pay for the 6700K upfront, the value you lose from selling the lesser CPU will also cost you more in the end.
4.2GHz should work fine if you have a proper heatsink and undervolt, delid+relid should also help temps massively with this CPU. -
Thank you for helping me a make the right decision! I will buy i7 6700KPapusan likes this.

Hello, I've been reading through this forum and think I might be close to making a purchase, but I have a couple questions if anyone could help:
1) I am inexperienced when it comes to thermal pasting, so I would prefer to not have to repaste unless necessary. Does the i7 6700k run at uncomforatbly high temps with stock paste? Is the non k 6700 cooler enough to make repasting significantly less important? I am leaning toward the non k since it should be powerful enough for what i want, but that doesnt mean the 6700k wouldnt be nice.
2) Has anyone successfully used linux on this laptop? Not that important but would be nice to know it works fine if I decide I want to use it in the future.
ThanksUsmanKhan likes this. -
6700k will probably require some tweaking. 6700 non-k should be good to go "out of the box," or at most, an undervolt if you want even lower temps. However, I would still recommend that you look in to how to do a repaste as a basic skill for notebook ownership.UsmanKhan, birdyhands and Talon like this.

I will try to Delid and use this product to reduce the heat for i7 6700k
as soon as I will have all sets I will let you konow guys abouth the results.

I browsed trough first 15 pages, But I couldnt find anything about temperatures with everything stock during gaming. No cooling bad, not under/overclocked/ just plain laptop on a table i7 6700k with 1060gtx.

hello guys, can anyone who have the laptop confirm if the following wifi fit the 2230 slot? i m going to move to hackintosh once gtx 10 drivers are available. after reading the hackintosh forum it seems thats the only available wifi currently compatible with hackintosh with m.2 interface. thanks.

dont think its worth keeeping die bare even with the guard. people have got huge temps just with delid, re-liding the processor. its alot more safer too imo.
-
With everything at stock, it will exceed 90C under heavy load. Like I said in another post, the 6700K will require tweaking, whether it be an undervolt, repaste, liquid metal, and/or fan curve adjustment. People are recommending the 6700K because it offers the most flexibility, that is, the 6700K can emulate any of the lower-spec processors while still leaving the door open for more performance in the future. For example, if don't want to deal with liquid metal or fan curves, you can simply set the CPU to emulate a 6700 non-K, 6600K, 6700T, etc. However, let's say a year passes and now you're interested in more performance. You can then apply any of the tweaks I mentioned and crank the settings back up for more power.birdyhands and UsmanKhan like this.
-
do you think kryonaut will be enough for repast between die and IHS? or liquid is must? i want to stay away from liquid also its almost imposible to get one where i originally live, im not sure if they allow taking such liquid stuff on airport either.
-
This was an issue expressed on the first page of this owner thread, but was not addressed by the OP in his initial response. Can anyone elaborate on this issue, is anyone else experiencing this same problem?
-
It's... on... it's... way. Unfortunately, there is already a delay in shipping. Suppose to get my FB4XVR200 on Friday, might be Saturday now.
-
@Diversion and @keftih
Will I damage my system if I don't (6700K): undervolt, repaste, liquid metal, and/or fan curve adjustment -
I regularly hit over 90c even with undervolt and delid when using AVX enabled applications such as encoding video and rendering... I probably use my CPU a lot harder than most people though.. knowing that.. the stock setup would easily throttle under my usage to keep temps under 100c. Granted that's with auto fans.. max fan speed helps a lot around 12-15c cooler..
Go for the 6700k if you like tweaking.. if not I can't recommend it if you use a CPU heavily as I do.RaymondConstans, hmscott and keftih like this. -
No you wouldn't damage but I'd expect the CPU to throttle under stress.. unfortunately it seems the heatsink setup is really only rated to properly dissipate about 75 watts with auto fan profile.. the 6700k stock with AVX enabled applications will draw well over 100+ watts to maintain 4ghz.. that's why an undervolt helps tremendously by lowering the wattage used by the CPU.RaymondConstans, birdyhands and hmscott like this.

Hey guys, did anyone find an unlocked bios/UEFI to use? I want to under clock + under volt my CPU (and mayb GPU) so I can actually enjoy a movie on a flight. Also I want to use a giant dickbutt as a boot logo. I googled svet bios but no avail... Can you send me like a link? Cheers guys! Also thanks for making this awesome thread!
birdyhands likes this. -
That's a pretty good idea to get more battery life. Never thought of it. Lower the clock speeds and voltages. For general use like watching a movie or browsing the web.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
i think you dont need unlocked bios on this laptop to do that, you can under clock, undervolt cpu from within windows with throttle stop. also there is no unlocked vbios available for pascal gpu.
-
There is no custom Bios yet, the only one you need to get directly from svet and so far only 1 person has it.
And just use Intel XTU for under clocking and voltage.UsmanKhan likes this. -
Uhhh well I'm not the first one to think of it... Just asking if there are unlocked BIOSes available. I don't think svet has published his BIOS yet. That's why I'm asking! But the main reason I want it is to use a dickbutt as boot logo. Lol
-
so no dickbutts for me? shame.
-
Eurocom will release its own customs Bios very soon, they say around Christmas time.
Maybe it can change the Bios logo, I want a Yoshi dinosaur for my.
