There is a big difference..I would have it repasted if possible.

Do you have a Sabrent DAC? remove the audio board MS-18142 Ver: 1.0. This is what seems to have occurred for quite some. It fails in a funky way that maybe it occasionally when it heats up enough or so, the internal circuity or some soldering pins are connecting and then it finally boots.

Hello everyone,
I own a MSI GS65 8SE (i7 8750H & RTX 2060). One day i was working with Excel and then turned off forever (no on lights, nothing). I took the notebook to a trusted technician and the results was a EC connector (super i/o) was burned out.
He provided a replacement chip but we need an original EC Firmware, but i cant find anything on internet. He said to me that can fix if i found the same notebook and transfer from keyboard connector.
Sorry guys, I don't understand much and sorry for my bad english.
Thanks -
Sorry if you have already tried this. Unfortunately I no longer own any GS series laptops but EC firmware is available on the MSI support page under BIOS or firmware. I may have database of previous ECs if you would like to try one by one.
