Now that you refer that, the stock pads on those places are the green squishy ones, and they get compressed at bit(around 0.5 to 0.8mm), those pads look much harder than the stock green ones, I would bet my 2 cents that those pads are lifting the heatsink/not letting it seat properly and thus causing the massive difference in temps between the cores.

The bigger pad that sits on the chokes doesn't even have a mark of touching them, most likely those pads are too thick and/or too stiff to be used in that position.

If those are 0.5mm pads, they are not the problem. I don't get choke marks on mine either, but I *do* on the 1mm pads.

@senso @Falkentyne I will do all the tests today. I got maker gel today and I will try it. Those are 0.5 mm pads and they are very new. 1 day old, that could be reason because they have no marks. I still think that Nocta is very thick and It is not for laptops.

0.5mm pads won't leave marks on chokes. They are thin. You can also stretch them out and compress them even more if necessary (use something clean like plastic wrap).
Both mine and papusan's tests are important. Remember to put a rice size drop of TIM in the middle of the CPU. Exact middle. then screw on the heatsink but listen.
DO not turn each screw all the way by itself!! please do not.

Start with one screw, turn about 20%. then go to the DIAGONAL opposing screw, turn by 20%. Then the next screw, turn by 20%, then the fourth. Then keep repeating until all screws are tightened

    Does this make sense?

Then after tightened, then remove all four screws and try to pull the heatsink DIRECTLY OFF WITHOUT SLIDING IT.
Then take a picture of the CPU surface.

If there is more paste at the top and less at the bottom, then it means there is a pressure balance problem.

Then do the exact same test, BUT WITH NO THERMAL PADS ON AT ALL. (you can easily remove the thermal pads and save them, for later).

This is an easy test. The hardest part of this test is cleaning all of the thermal compound (TIM) off completely between each test :)

also, please unplug battery always (AND ALWAYS UNPLUG AC) when opening laptop.
