    The question is what platform msi, mouse computer, and other brands basing this U100 model off. Something like Clevo?

    No Clevo. MSI is a ODM for notebooks. They make it. MSI designed and builds the Wind and the clones. They are using other brands which are known in curtain countries because MSI does not have a wide service network. Servicing notebooks requires a different infrastructure to motherboards and graphics cards.

    yeah its cheaper than a wind and its the same thing with a diff badge,but if anything id rather have a wind brand,advent,i dont like there computers lol

    The only thing "Advent" on the Advent badged Wind is the badge. It is not built by the usual Advent makers so don't worry about the badge.

    Have a look what CPU-Z reports as the make and model of the Advent badged Wind
