    Any chance seeing MSI adopt Cherry MX Low Profile RGB in next GT83?

    One of the things that I never liked about GT80/83 was the keyboard. What are the chances of MSI adopting the MX Low in GT85 (or whatever they'll call it) next year?

    Probably no update until a new generation comes out later, but we all gotta wait to find out what's coming since it's too early to say.

    Hi Kev,

    BTW, I've spoken with a guy from Cherry and he said that the MX Low will more likely be released next year. As for the next gen, they will probably announce smth at CES, and if not, then more likely at Computex 2019.

    Yeah, that would be lovely if they can get it out in time while the manufacturers (not only MSI, but others too) are in the preparation stage to create a new SKU for their next generations so consumers can have a nicer machine with mechanic keyboard that have lower height.
