I am definitely considering purchasing the Force 1656-ID5, but I can't find any reviews for it. Has anyone purchased one? How's the heat and noise? Can you hear the fans when it idles?

It's basically a GX640 with grey stripes instead of red ones. read reviews about GX640 - there are plenty of those now.

BUT, you can have a better machine because you can get up to 3-5 years warranty on HD's, Life on Ram, not sure with CPU but it's gotta be more than a year.

The most sensitive parts are not the HDD or RAM (that are easily and cheaply interchangeable). The main components to consider are motherboard and GPU - and you can get only 1 year warranty on that.
