Anyone know where a GE76 can be found, specifically the 11800H with 3070 or 3080? I've looked all the places I know and besides one here in the marketplace that got snagged quick and one on eBay that also got snagged quick I can't find these anywhere. Yes I do know what's going on right now with parts, just wondering if anyone has a line on one now as I leave for work in 2 weeks.

Where are you located? Amazon has both the 11800 and 11980 with the 3080 both in stock with delivery from a couple days to a week in the USA anyways. I ordered mine off amazon and it shipped within a few days. Other than having to repaste it's been awesome.

Im in Southern California. Who was the seller for yours? I should have clarified that I saw 2 companies list them neither of whom I've heard of and neither of who have them listed on their website which makes me nervous to pay them and then turn around and have them tell me they don't actually have them. I realize I can get a refund but I don't need that headache after spending 3 grand. The companies are CUK (Computer upgrade king) and Mobile Advance.

1 is MSI, 13 left in stock. 2 is Computer Upgrade King (CUK) with 3 in stock. I got a 11980HK and 3080 with 64GB ram and a 3080 from CUK.

My local Costco has several in stock, but I think they only carry the 3060 model.

The first link isn't direct from MSI, if you look below the Buy button you see it is fulfilled by Mobile Advance. I emailed them to see if they actually have it.

Looks like ExcaliburPC has them back in stock, theirs is $100 more than the others but it includes a gaming backpack which I do not need. I guess I'll see if MobileAdvance responds to me.

I read some negative reviews about CUK but in the end, the price was reasonable (not discounted or anything) and it was in stock and shipped quick so I went with them but I wanted the 11980HK.

Yeah, considering that my search started 3 weeks ago with a budget of $2k after taxes and is now more like $3500 after taxes I can't justify the jump to the HK but I am very excited. Ive never owned MSI, I've always owned Clevos but didn't care for their setup this year.

Well good luck! After my repaste I am happy, the stock MSI paste was pretty bad which I should have expected I guess. Just seems odd to me to spend thousands and $10 paste fixes a ton of throttling. I like the way you can max fan or even configure it for no fans, many laptops don't allow one or the other. 165W 3080 is nice too, about even with a stock desktop 3070. Not too far behind my desktop 3080 system.

What did you repaste with? Did you do both CPU/GPU? Does it come with Thermal pads stock? I've never repasted anything, i've watched several videos. Looks to me like its straightforward with the exception of getting into the conductive liquid metal type stuff, then you have to be more careful and take a bit of a different approach but I'd sure like to try it out.

I went with IC Diamond 24 which I had on hand. Its very thick but I've had good luck using it. It came with no thermal pads, just the thick white goop. I have a picture in the GE76 owners lounge thread. It is very easy to repaste and I didn't even need to disconnect the fan plugs. I chose only repaste the dies not all the surrounding chips.

Ok excellent I'll take a look at that thread, thanks again for the help.
