So just got my GE72 2QD Apache Pro (win10) a few days ago and have been enjoying it. However I've noticed one thing that worries me slightly. When playing MGS5 the battery slowly drains drains despite being plugged in, after a few hours it was down to 80% or so.

Is this 'intended' behavior? I ran a battery calibration almost right out the box so some settings have changed since then. I have a cooling pad plugged into the laptop. Power plan is high performance and shift mode is sport. Could it be a bad battery? Charges just fine outside of the game and don't want to have to send it in now that I've got a good chunk of my things set up on it. Could it be the cooling pad is throwing off the balance? Do I need to try swapping out the power brick? I think the brick from my old laptop might fit the laptop's cord, similarly are there any issues with using a power brick aside from the ones provided by MSI? Or am I being a bit of a worrywort and the battery is suppose to discharge underload/down to a certain point before extra charging kicks in?
