I was going to get 2 ssds in raid 0, decided against it, I prefer this idea now . And I am going to upgrade the processor in the future because let's be honest the 740QM is fast enough at the moment (especially with 8gb of ram + ssd) so when the price is cheaper I will buy the upgrade.
I cannot wait!
I bought it through gentechpc and wow, great support and highly recommend (so far), I will also be doing a review with lots and lots of pictures (something I found lacked) because when your ordering off the internet, it's something you need to see lots of.
Thanks guys !

Very nice laptop, I bought my laptop from Gentech way back when. Ken knows how to take care of his customers.
Yes, a SSD + HDD combo works best right now, especially since there's no TRIM support for RAID yet -
i think ts mistaken in the cpu part, in the specs it says 740qm, but he said 720qm, so i guess you are referring to 740qm?
-
yeah, I said 720 meaning 740, my bad

New sockets, new chipsets. -
Did you buy the 35 dollar thermal compound?
-
Yep, just because I know it will get applied properly.

Eh, you could have saved yourself some money. I could have walked you through it.
Sigh. Yet another reminder that my optimization/cooling guide is long overdue. -
Paypal is fixed, I have sent the money to them, so it should be coming veryyy soon!
Bitten the bullet and bought a GX660r
