I consider buying a VR headset. I would pick HTC Vive Cosmos for a start. In this headset's specification there is resoultion 2880x1700 (1440x1700 for each eye) and Displayport 1.2. Will it be compatible with MSI GE 75 laptop? The laptop is MSI GE75 Raider 10SF-016PL, i7 10750h, RTX2070, 16GB Ram, mini Displayport (can't find mini Displayport version in this laptop's specification).
I intend to get a VR headset compatible with Steam and not requiring Facebook. It will the first VR device at home.

For a Laptop that new, you should be fine.

As for the headset, the Cosmos is the only other inside-out tracking that's not by Oculus, but it is known to have tracking issues in dimly lit rooms. Make sure everything works out, and if it doesn't you could always buy base-stations.
