    Hello !!

Purchased an eurocom tornado F5 barebone , after that i decided to get the 7700k with a gtx 1070 and 16gb ram , got the power supply , yesterday i assemled the thing and i get a black screen im assuming its because laptop may have the stock bios which to my understanding does not support kaby lake . So i have two questions :

i want to know if this laptop is able to boot with a lower end pentium g4400 cpu for flashing purposes and i also where can i download the kaby lake updated bios .

    tanx for your time

    EDIT:

Managed to resolve contacting eurocom , they sent me kaby lake capable bios. now ive been playing some games and the gtx 1070 temps are pretty cool , i get max temps of 75C but oh boy the cpu (facepalm) is getting 100C. ive read people delid this cpu because its infamous temps even on desktops if im not able to fix this with XTU or BIOS i think i will downgrade to 6700k but thats a different post

    EDIT2

Managed to lower temps underclocking the cpu 100*35 as opposed to 100*42 default also undervolted the cpu to -.10 , now im getting around 80C max temps on CPU,

Good to see that you were able to resolve the issue. Can you share what actually went wrong and what was done to resolve the issue? This may helps others if they run into similar issues as you did, thanks. :)

I see, so it was microcode-related issue, and you picked up a G4400 to take care of that part. :)
