After a long fight between pa71es and this laptop, I found a good offer for the msi (about 200€ less than the clevo with same spec).

Once the laptop will arrive, I will install a different SSD and repaste the GPU and CPU with thermal grizzly kryonaut (it will get moved a bit and as far i have understood, LM is not the best solution). To avoid to open it twice, I would also like to change the pads(artic or minus pad 8), does anyone know the thickness (and in case an approximate area) of the stock ones?

hello, recently i changed mines on GE73VR 8RF, i used 1.0 mm hope this will help, and keep in mind there is one area near the cpu where you need to use around 2.0mm its small area.

i used Arctic - Thermal Pad 50 x 50 x 1.0 mm it was more than enough to change all the pads.
