I am interested in replacing the screen on my GS73VR which has the typical 120hz TN panel that I don't like very much because it is TN. I've seen some laptop screen replacement videos and it seems pretty easy to just swap out for a new panel. However, I want to know if I am limited to the two or three compatible screens for the laptop, which don't have the best contrast and color specs, or can I just find any other 17" that has the same connector and plop it in? Trying to find the best panel available, maybe even glossy or semi gloss.
