    GT60 cant adjust brightness after upgrading to windows 8

    since i upgraded to windows 8 i cant adjust the brightness
    s-bar crashes , scm nothing happens , the same for windows settings
    any ideas ?

    sorry i solved it after weeks of searching


    Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager

    Once the Device Manger box opens expand the "Monitors" tab

    Left Click and Uninstall the monitor listed
    Then select the Scan for Hardware Changes Icon

    it should work now ...
