Its really quiet to my ears, even when gaming. Crysis on full res and max settings runs smooth, but I got bored with it after 15 minutes. And then Deadspace windowed on max settings worked awesome, its a trip to play it in a 1024 window. Bioshock 2 tonight.
Sucker gets hot under the vent, making it hard to game on my lap. Temps got up to low 70s, but I never play more than 30 minutes.

My GX640 sucks. It gets up to 94C gaming (I'm pretty sure it just overheated... whole thing shut down while playing Mass Effect 2) for less than 5 minutes. XoticPC must have messed something up with the thermal paste.

Can you make a nice graph? I made a nice Python script for the purpose and I'd like to see it used more ;)

And since we're on complaint mode in this thread, anyone find the touchpad buttons hard to press? Its real weird with mine considering there's a noticable keyboard flex (since I use the right alt key alot I have to press on the palm rest to snap the keyboard back in after pressing space or alt a couple times).
Just re-installed the OS on my old M1330 for my mom and forgot how the toucpad buttons are supposed to feel. Oh well...

Yeah, it sounds like csinth was unlucky.
As for the flex, mine isn't noticeable while typing normally, though I do see it if I press hard on the right Alt key.
