    Hello,

After considering both the Sager NP5793 and 8662, I found the MSI G725 and decided that it is the best bang for the buck I can get right now.

The only questions I have left are:

Do all sellers supply the backpack and mouse with it? I know it's silly but I really need a new mouse and case and this would sweeten the deal so much.

For those who own it, how does the P8600 hold up to newer or demanding games like Crysis etc. I've seen the reviews but all the ones I've found are the more powerful CPU with 6mb cache.

And finally, how is the display brightness and clarity? Especially as compared to, say an HP pavillion 17" glossy screen (only thing I have to compare it to).

Thank you in advance for any help.

i got my gt725 at xoticpc that came with the backpack but no mouse. they assured me that the gt725 comes with no mouse.

the 17' display is great with anti-glare but i later found some bleeding on the lower screen but its all good.

I can definitely live without the mouse, so that won't deter me. The screen bleed isn't bad enough to be a problem though?

Redlance have you noticed any screen bleed, and if so, is it tolerable?

My mind is pretty much made up on this...hopefully the screen won't be an issue which I'm sure it wont. I might get it from Amazon, which doesn't include the backpack, but does give the "rebate" after complaining that Vista is not 64bit. In this economy every buck I save counts :D

there have been a few complaints about the GT725-075us screen 1900x1200 lcd is dim washed out but the GT725-074US is crisp and bright. Loaded up a solid black background and a trace of light leakage is along the bottom margins and is not really noticeable. I had more light leak through on my asus G2P and it was minor also.

That is awesome to know. I prefer the resolution of the 074US anyway and the screen being better is just an added bonus. Looks like I'll be putting in my order very soon!

Should I go with XoticPC, NewEgg, or Amazon (where it's still listed as 64bit)?

You can always change your CPU. My friend that got the 074 one with p8600, e changed his for a p9600. I'm telling him to post here how he made it work. I wish I got the p8600 one. :/.
