    HELP! MSI GT72 power issues

    So changed it, the guy who did it found a issue with a pin not being connected so he fixed that but seems this didnt solve my issue card still tripped my PSU but seems now windows is not picking up my pc being connected to power the icon showing battery failure still works and shows it plugged in ( PSU was replaced a while ago) also laptop doesnt die even with 2min battery

    Did you change all 3 MOSFET? It could also be the voltage regulator. If that's the case the gpu core is most probably toast...

    will some thing got fried took the gpu out and and still does that so think the IC is gone and after using it a but (it draws more then it can charge) i herd a pop and it turned off so im getting its time to let go and take not to ever buy MSI again

    does the motherboard work without the GPU connected? If it does, just buy another GPU, such as 1060/1070 or quadro
