So the question is it possible to clone/transfer the OS/msi softwares from HDD to mSATA SSDs ?

Most SSD's come with cloning software for this purpose. Example, the Samsung 840 Evo I put in my GT60 Dominator included Samsung software that will migrate all of your OS and data over to the new SSD. There are also many 3rd party disk cloning applications that do the same.

You treat msata ssds like any other ssd.

be aware models without msata drives as standard don't come with the 3x msata bays but another 2.5" bay instead.

I am planning to buy this IMG_43139750189750.jpeg
This country sells GTX 880m pretty cheap

So does the GT60 dominator PRO 2PE have 3x msata ssd slot ?

But how do you treat msata ssd as a 2.5 " ? just install mstat ssd and clone from HDD ?

it is unlikely that model has the msata adapter. more then likely it just has an open slot for a 2.5" drive. you have to check under the main access panel if you want to be 100% sure. There are steps to take to clone the drive, it is actually not that easy and not all cloning software works

As I said in my post, models without an mSATA drive as standard WILL come with a 2.5" bay instead.

You treat it like any drive, msata is just sata in a different physical form, it will appear to the OS and bios as a standard drive.

If you get a 2.5" mSATA to 2.5" adapter you can plug it into any sata machine.
