    Is it worth the effort to downgrade my GX620, to XP?

    So, I bought this laptop a few days ago, knowing that Vista would be installed already, but I didn't think much of it. But after using it extensively, I see the mountainous difference between the two operating systems, performance, and reliability-wise. So it begs the question, is it worth downgrading to XP? Does anyone here own a gx620, and can give me some advice? I don't want to install XP just to realize that there are compatibility issues.

    Any advice :O?

    This is the model/specs of my laptop:
    MSI GX620-038US 15.4-Inch Laptop (2.4 GHz Intel Penryn Core 2 Duo P8600 Processor, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB Hard Drive, 512 MB Geforce 9600 Graphics, SuperMulti Drive, Vista Premium)

    All the drivers for an XP installation are available here:

    By going to XP you will loose ECO mode and overclocking, last I checked these were not functional in XP.

    just curious is the vista key supplied with the MSI can it be used to install 64 bit vista?
