So my MSI GT780r-012 came..and it is really nice, love the keyboard and the LCD wow... my other laptops have been 720p/900p.... the screen difference is immense...
The only problem I have found is I can't take full advantage of my network speed (100 meg down) unless I hard wire the laptop... does anyone know where to buy a better N type card from?
Thanks

I am pretty happy with my Bigfoot 1103. For best results use with a 2x2 or 3x3 mimo router. I'm on 2x2 and it is a major improvement.

You're network speed is going to depend a lot on your network config, as well as the speed of the HDD in the systems that you're transferring between. I said all that to say this, I picked up an intel advanced 6230N. It gives me around 75Mb/s which is pretty fast, but also to take advantage of that you'll need a 5GHz capable router.

If you had bought your unit through one of the resellers listed on the first page of the GT780/GT783 Owners Lounge they would be more than glad to sell you the Bigfoot Killer 1103 and a 3rd antenna or would have recommended you do it while they were setting up your notebook. You desided to go with Newegg whom doesn't offer this level of customization.
You can still contact PowerNotebooks or GenTech and see what they say.

BTW,this should have been posted in the owners lounge. -
I'm sure Ken at Gentech would have no problem selling you a Bigfoot n1103. If you don't need Bluetooth, it's probably the best card you can get for gaming purposes. My prior card would produce a ping of over 15ms on Pingtest.net but the n1103 gets me 5ms every time. I now also get full bars everywhere in my house where before, I would only get 2-3 bars in some places. At work, I pick up 2-3 bars when others can't even see the network. Right now, I am getting a speed of 450 Mbps between myself and the router.
