Hey I've been reading the these forums for a bit and quickly realized that you guys are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. So I was wondering if you guys could help me! :D

So I was planning on buying a MS-171f Barebone and was going to put the following in it:

    Intel Core 2 Duo T9400
    Nvidia 9800m GT
    320GB HDD 7200rpm
    G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
    LINKSYS WPC300N Wireless-N Notebook Adapter

What I am not entirely sure about is the Video Card. How would I go about replacing the original one? Is there Laptop Specific Video cards?

Thanks In advance and Sorry if it's a little long :(

EDIT: I also found the MS-1722. Would the specs above work for this model?

You cant change the video card.. It is integrated. The rest could be upgraded though.

The 1722 would be the one to choose. better preformance and a 9600m GT DDR3 512 card!! Yes everything you listed (not sure about the 9800m GT upgrade though) would work great in the 1722. Hope this helps.

Confirmed. It'll work. I'm talking about everything without video card - it will work it both mashines. I do think that it is possible to change the video of MS 1722. And I want to aks - where did you find the video card, because I want to buy one :p Then I will tell for sure is it working :D

Edit: This wireless I think it won't work. You need to use intel wireless card. Like 5100 or 5300 (better second).

Thanks so Much! I'll probably end up with the 1722 then. Oh I found it at Newegg (MSI Branded) 512mb for $115 and a $20 mail-in Rebate. The 1GB cost a little more and the GTX version is a bit more than that ($150-$170 I believe) Thanks alot Guys!!
