Ahh yes, saw these a few days ago, they are called the ferrari models (Or were listed as something associated as cars)
They seem really good! -
thats hot. I'm not too knowlegeable about GPU's. how well do those perform? are they comparable the some of the higher end ATi's?
-
They perform very well, 335m is being used in m11x, so you can find good graphics performance in that review!
The cpu is very good though, for the size too, its perfect! and i5 with interchangable graphics maybe? you can't go wrong with battery. -
thats awesome. any official press releases or anything? been looking around can't find anything so far... and the link he posted is broken.
ah. found one.

says site not found. weird.
-
Hmm enter the URL into google translate, that'd do it
Go from german to english or your native language. -
thats so sweet. sounds perfect for school. too bad i need a lappy soon...
-
To be honest, even if you do, i'd say its worth the wait
It may be a while, but in the end it'l definately be worth it! -
Oh noooo the alien gets pwned
-
i cannot wait till these are released
-
i know it'd be worth it. i may just end up with the gx740 but these look so sleek and are more portable. just wish they had an optical drive :/
-
Other than the shiny display bezel, it looks terrific. The 3600 MaH battery is a bit of concern though.
-
MSI is really stepping up it's game. Some really exciting stuff coming out.
-
^agreed. i'm keeping my eyes peeled and waiting till august before i buy.
-
MSI are undoutably stepping their game up to an unimaginable level, along with nift and fairly reliable customer service, reliable machines, they are doing this, releasing machines, actually based of customer requirements and needs!!
-
Any idea when these will hit the streets?
-
Howitzer225 Death Company Dreadnought
Oooh, a good alternative to the ASUS N82. Same specs (Optimus, Core i5 & GT335M), but in a more sleek package.
-
And probably better battery life than Asus. Some how, Asus seems to give subpar battery life with most of their line up - even with specs that look like they should be low power consumers...
-
I just saw the FX600 released in Canada - both Newegg and PCCanada carries them.
New Egg
PC Canada
Albeit the model released only has a 325m, but still should be a decent performer. Anybody have more information or hands on? What would the battery life be like for this?
EDIT - I checked up on the models a bit more. No mention at all of Optimus being present in these (despite previous articles claiming the support), so a bit disappointing. I'll give newegg a call once I get home.
