    Hello

I searched the forums and couldn't find anything of real value regarding these GE63 Raider machines. Is there something wrong with them? Overheating/throttling etc?

I am in Canada and Newegg is selling these two machines - I am thinking the only difference is the one is a US SKU and the other is Canadian.

The RGB-010 has a SATA SDD as opposed to the 8RF that has a NVMe SSD (the 8RF is also less expensive). I couldn't find anything else that was different (I had to go onto MSI Canada website to get the additional specs that Newegg left blank).

    Can any-one confirm?

I guess the other question is whether this machine is worth it, as I can find little info on them. Similar to the GT63 Titan-047 (seems like there is no Canadian equivalent to this one).

i am also leaning towards the Clevo from Eurocom (Sky 4XC) but the poor battery life and weight of the machine is putting me off that one.

It's not like the GT, the GE is about a pound lighter, thinner, with half the RAM support (not like most users need 64GB though). Doesn't get as warm as a GS might though.

GE series has lesser thermal capacity while compared against GT series but it is geared toward mid-end performance therefore its value/performance/cost formula has a very good balance.

I'm confused which laptop to buy. Either MSI GE63 8RF or HP OMEN 15 dc (the one with gtx 1070 max-q on it).
I can't find anything about the new omen 15 with gtx 1070 max-q. Specs on paper are really quite convincing but I'm still not sure. Any suggestions regarding what I should choose between these two?
