I am using a "USB" 2.0 device from my telecom company to connect to the internet, in the "Network and Sharing center" it is called "GCT WIMAX USB NETWORK DEVICE", it is not a "WIFI" or "Ethernet" device, it is under local arena network and labelled network 5, anyway once I shut down the PC, the next time I open it, the device is not recognized, internet does not work and I have to re-install it again.Does anyone know what causes such a problem? does it have to do with Killer wireless"? btw I have norton installed but tried to disable all network related tasks but still no use

Is there updated software for your USB device.

The driver details say the device is up to date, however I have not re-installed any of the killer/intell wireless/lan drivers, I am using what was factory installed on the GT 60 0ne...if that is the problem which driver do I install for internet lan or wireless?Beta Killer BigFoot LAN or Killer (Bigfoot) LAN or wireless_bt_killer_n1202 or Intel N2230 Wireless LAN???

I would first install the standard ones, if that doesnt help try the Beta. But also look for updated software for your device. While the driver details may say its up to date, Windows really doesn't know if there is newer software for that specific USB device. Find the manufacturer of it, and visit their site to see if there are any updates.
