oh, you were kidding
xD
ill check it out. the down side, is its $1,300 from amazon, and xotic will price match (well, they do pricematching so they should)
ill shoot them an email and see what they say! -
for some reason amazon drop the price $100 but they keep saying pre order and i think one of the rule of getting a price match the shop must have them instock i mean the one who is selling cheap.
but you never know if u put in google hit the shopping tab u can see a few more option
good luck -
I can't help but wonder if someone else was correct before when they said that Amazon had so many pre-orders that they hadn't gotten in enough stock yet to satisfy the pre-orders. (They did list the -216US as being in stock briefly one weekend too...)
Anyways, yeah Frosty has them, but you're going to pay quite a bit more, something like $150 more for the -218US model. Only place that claims to have them at the, apparently, new MSRP are Amazon and newegg.
You can also orrder them directly from MSI US site, but they were still at the old prices last I checked or $1399 for GT627-218US and $1149 (or whatever it was) for the GT627-216US. Trust me, you do NOT want the -216US though, that 1280x800 res will make it near useless for anything other than gaming esp if you've ever had a 1680x1050 LCD panel...
(According to the post on Ars Technica, they were told by MSI that the MSRP would be $1299 and $1099 for the -218US and -216US, but no one has apparently bothered to tell MSI US this though...) -
yea i know, the real reason why i'm getting this over some 14in is because of resolution
