    According this test the new MSI GT663 is a new star, and i would deffently choose this vs GX660R.

    I dont think so as the test versjon is i7 740qm, but i think the i5 460m have optimus with GTX460

    No GT663 will have Optimus because it uses a PM55 chipset.

    optimus is dependent of the processor, if the processor has a iGPU then we can try optimus, if it dont... then well you dont get optimus.

    So far the only i7 that has an iGPU is the i7 600 series.

    PM55 doesn't support an IGP even if the CPU has one on die.

    Is this clearer....GT663 won't be able to use Optimus even with a CPU that has an IGP on die because the PM55 chipset does not support the IGP.

    I asked if there was a version of the GX660 with a FullHD screen not 1366x768 in my local computer shop in Chiang Mai (Thailand) and after the shop owner made some phone calls I was told I could have a GT663, that was a week or so ago, Now I see it's up on JIB, one of Thailand's main computer retail chains so I guess it really is out.

    Exactly, it won´t because mobile i7 quadcores don´t have an IGP and it should be HM55...

    Sandy Bridge Quadcores will have Optimus (Nvidia) / Dynamic SG (AMD).

    Seems like MSI have better shipment to better countries atleast thats how it seems.

    Meh got my eye on the 660R now haha i hate it because both look great.

    MSI has a lot more market share in europe compared to NA so thats probably why they ensure to get shipments there quick. Should be in NA soon though. Harras gentech/xotic/rk and it'll eventually turn up.

    This new one looks good but i have my love for the 660R.
