Hi, first of im david, new to this community and found you because im getting mad with a problem.

i just bought a 670m to replace my 460m but windows dont recognize it.

The hardware administrator says its a standard vga (while everest/aida says its a 670m).

So i try and try but its imposible to install drivers because nvidia setup says i dont have compatible hardware (306.97 drivers from nvidia official website).

I just flashed the last msi bios (E16F2IMS.30Z) and tryed to flash modded bios (ULCACHI.30R) and then flash the ECALL (wich i had to force due to a not board compatible weird message).

In every bios i had the same result, nvidia drivers dont recognizeing my 670m. And with the MSI bios my laptop is named as 16f2 gt687 but mine is a gt680R ¿?¿?¿?

Now even controls like wifi, bluetooth, turbo, eco etc doesnt work and my wifi doesnt connect so i had to write this from my mobile.

    Thx in advance

Which Brand of Card is it, if its Dell, Clevo etc that might be a problem. If you issue is down to the fact that Windows is only showing Standard Graphics Display i had the same issue when i flashed the Dell 70.26.36.00.09 Bios on my GTX560M i got over it by remaping the Device ID from 0000:0000 to 1426:1A09 and then the drivers worked. You might need to do that.

But that requires you do dump the bios and edit it with Norbit which will then corrupt the bios image and then you'll need to fix it with SVets tool. But best bet is to try modded inf files from laptopVideo2Go they normally work well.
