    Heya all,

So a few days ago my over 3 year old MSI GT683R died and after a technician did a thorough check and stuff after a few days came to the conclusion that the graphics card went bust. So I'm asking for help for what graphics cards are compatible with the laptop. And if possible, purchasable in the UK / reputable website with products based in the UK. And better, a graphics card that will work, not uber high end and won't cost all my limbs to fund.

Thanks for the help in advance. I'm dying without my laptop. Help please.

    Edit- preferably something under £150?

It was a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M , and I'd be happy to get something that's less powerful, just medium-medium high graphic settings on newer games is fine for me

I think it will with the right heatsink, any dell/MSI/Clevo card will work IIRC. More modern cards like the 770M and 970M are also options but are more expensive.

After a quick Google it looks like my 5870m is a little bit less powerful than your current Nvidia (dead) gpu. And yeah you'll need the right heatsink, which shouldn't be too hard to find.
