I wanted to inquire about the Dragon Centre boost. According to some websites, it is possible to increase the CPU speed by a feature grading from normal, through sport, to turbo, -- in the case of my i7 6700HQ to 3.1 GHz. I expect it in the post soon, second hand, but have seen some websites saying you can't -- please explain to a ninny!

HQ chips can't be overclocked, so you can't go above that speed on 4 cores. With dragon center and turbo mode you'll probably be able to overclock the GPU instead.

You need K or HK processor to do that.
