    Funny thing is, it dissapears when I revert to an older VBIOS ;)
    Me (Radium69)
    and MrFeilong
    Both experience the dancing pixels, but with the old vbios it dissapeared. So I'm dazzled.

    Is it MSI's fault? Is it the screens fault, is it the ATI 5870m vbios?

    @offtopic,
    Can anybody help me with finding a screen replacement. Or a company that does replacing. I'm located in The Netherlands so would be nice if I had one close by.

    1680x1050 or 1920x1200 with High Quality screen. (like the dell's led screen in the studio line or comparable) Or can I email MSI to look for a replacement.

    I'm using the old laptop now. Radium I'll tell You what exactly new matrix I will have if MSI will replace it. In Your place I would write a mail to MSI in Netherlands because You will not must wait so long for the answer as writing to MSI.com.

    And it's hard to say which company, ATI, MSI or maybe Samsung - display producer, screwed up. It could be ATI Radeon 5870 bad compatibility, bad vBIOS with this matrix, maybe Samsung screen is imperfect. It's hard to say. What I know is that Samsung made a bad screen because of granularity. Dancing pixels can be fault of bad vBIOS which shows ATI fault, I think. Hope that MSI will exchange the display in my lap so I can normaly use it.

    Hello Folks ! I'm back ! With new display :) It's again Samsung display but much much better :) They replace it without word so it means there's something bad with those screens. Monitor Name:

    Samsung LTN170WP-L02

    So You can replace too for this model. It's still 1680x1050 but quality is much better. And there's no dancing pixels :)

    That's good to hear, You now have a new screen, now all that's left is the hard drive lag and you need to use crystal disk for that.

    M8 believe me, I want to take a photo of new screen but quality of photo will be really poor and You won't see any change :( I don't have a good camera. Just believe me, new display is much better. Better sharpness, white colors looks great now, there's no granularity, no moving pixels. It's not good as LED but it's good enough :) Don't waste You time, send it to MSI and ask for replacement :)
