I know people state that there are two 2.5" drives on the MS-16F3 but is there a msata as well? This subsection is a little slow so don't mind a new thread ;)

    Thanks

I saw one reseller that said it did, but multiple resellers that list it does not. I'm guessing that's a negative on the mSATA.

the dual mSATA module only available on branded GT70 0NE SKUs. many people actually preferred 2.5" SATA than the mSATA because there are more choices with brands and capacity.

Item NBK-MSI-MS16F32 (GT60-0NC) is listed as having dual mSATA gen 3 support.

Which is not made any more.

You can find it in some places that don't move much stock outside the US but that's about it.

    I'll quote myself again:

Plus actually both have eSATA gen2 (except for the workstation editions).

AVA Direct seems to be the only major retailer to supply it.

Just a note that we have got a few adapters and are using them in our new overclocked unit so you can get a 680M in a 15.6" with mSATA raid now.
